Anyone that is left......it's been awhile since my last post, lol.
I would like to announce the arrival of baby Fiona Bloom. She was born July 13th at 11:11pm. Today is her five month birthday. :) She is quite the chunk. Just like Ryan was. They're about the same baby in every way. They are both soooo happy and good, night owls, and only want mommy's milk, lol.
Seriously, this little lady is awesome. I can't believe I have been blessed with two AMAZING children.
Lot's of updates need to be done on here. I will get on that. Just wanted to post that quick update....five months later, haha. But I have some big plans I've been contemplating the last couple of days. I'll get on here and post more elaborately soon....I PROMISE. :) But it should be good stuff.
Love you all!!

Happy One Year Birthday Blog! LOL
Looking back through my posts I noticed that I've had my blog for almost exactly one year now.
And what a crazzzzyyyy year it has been.
But summer is here and I'm excited!!
Ryan just learned to ride his bike without training wheels last week. It seriously took him about 15 minutes to get it down and then he was off. The very next day we did a mile bike ride! That little man amazes me. So I imagine we'll be doing lots of bike rides this year. =D And of course our usual library trips, Jamison Park and the other fountains downtown, the zoo, etc. He is signed up for the Summer Reading program through the library again.
So just a little update. I'll try to post more, promise, lol.

Fishing and T-Ball
Ryan had his first fishing trip last weekend. It was a PERFECT day for it too. I think it got to 80 degrees...of course I got sunburnt, lol.
We went with Papa and Grandma to Haag Lake with the boat. Ryan caught four rainbow trout and then was pretty bummed when we had to go because he wanted to get that one more to get his limit. But it was soooo fun. The look on his face when he reeled in that first fish was amazing. :) Papa even let Ryan drive the boat!
We are in the middle of Ryan's second year of t-ball. It's so much fun. He is so pro! hehe. Seriously, the kid has skills no one should have in t-ball, haha.
If you want to go to games and I haven't sent you the schedule yet, let me know and I'll get it out to you!!

Time for a new slideshow!
Last Sunday was GORGEOUS...as all of this week has been so far. So we did our Columbia River Gorge Highway trek for a little hiking. Daddy went with us too. Our first stop was Latourell Falls. We hadn't hiked this one before so weren't sure where the trails would lead us, lol. I think the hike ended up being about 2.5 miles, so that was the only waterfall we hit up because we were starving afterward.
I think I'm going to get rid of my other blog
Some of you know (and some don't) that I also have another blog that's private where I do a lot of bitching and whining, LOL. But that one is even harder to read back through than this one.
I was going to try to leave this as a "family blog" all happy and cheerful and full of good news and all that. But as the "family" is no more...I'm just going to put all my updates, late night thinkings, etc. here. If you're still following along with me on here, you might as well get it all; the good, the bad and the ugly. :)
I do plan to dominate it still with cheerfulness though, haha.
Love you guys. :)

Happy February
Wow, so 2009 is not looking any better than 2008 so far.
For those that haven't heard...I lost my job last week. Could it be worse timing?!
But, as always, I'm trying to make the best of it. I feel excited in a way. I can do anything I want now. I've contemplated going back to school for a long time, I can do that now! AND......I'm 90% decided that I will be joining the Coast Guard Reserves. I'd like to do it after Ryan's birthday in May as I'll be gone for at least 8 weeks for basic. It would be a great supplemental income and help pay for school. And this is something I've wanted to do for sooo long.
Ryan and I have been taking advantage of the non-rainy weather. For Valentines day (he was my valentine, hehe) we went to the zoo. Then yesterday we took the scenic highway through the gorge and stopped at every waterfall we saw. At Multnomah Falls we hiked all the way to the top! It's only one mile...but it's all uphill. I was surprised Ryan made it, but he was determined!! Today we went down to the Columbia River off Marine Drive. We took a bunch of old bread and fed the seagulls and ducks. What an awesome weekend!!! We've had such a blast.
Enjoy the photos from our Columbia gorge trip!
